I love this room…

I love this room. I really do. I took a nap in there the day we finished. It’s beautiful and relaxing and I can’t wait to bring Mia home to see it. And so much love went into this room. My wonderful mother-in-law helped paint the room. My mom came down last week and we shopped for the little odds and ends to go in the room. And my mom, mother-in-law, our dear friend, Mary-Lou, and myself all sewed the bedding, curtains, changing pad covers, clothes hamper, and such. And what a fun day that was. We worked from 9:30 in the morning until almost 7 that night, but we got it all done. And now I have a beautiful room that I love so very much! I know that Mia will love it, too!

The further along I get in my pregnancy, the more I am loving these newborn sessions. It’s hard to believe that in 3 months, I will have my own little tiny person to cuddle with. We are all so excited to welcome her into this world, so I can certainly understand these new parents excitement of their new bundle. Tucker’s parents are over the moon for this little man. He is so precious and was definitely the most smiley newborn I have ever met.

Mr. David is 9 months old! Where does the time go? With the heat being unbearable right now, we decided to try an indoor session this time. The Pensacola Naval Museum turned out to be the perfect spot. It even rained during the shoot, but that didn’t matter to us. David is such a special little boy. He is just so happy. Even when he starts to get upset, a smile will creep back on his face. He is such a sweet, sweet boy…and extremely cute to boot!

My little smiley, blue-eyed friend is back for his 9 month session. His momma thought it would be fun to do a family shoot around the pool. And she was right. It was a great, laid-back place for photos and really showed what they like to do together as a family. And Keagan loved being in the water!

And yes, that is a frog on his head. If I wasn’t so worried about embarrassing Mom, I would have shown the ones where Dad got the frog a little too close to her, but since I value our friendship, you get this photo instead. The frog chilled on his head for quite some time.

Big brother, Talen, getting his silly faces out…

That last one is my absolute favorite from the session. Not sure why, but I just fell in love with it the moment I saw it.

Landon’s First Birthday…|Pensacola Party Photographer

Landon had a Finding Nemo theme for his first birthday and everything turned out so cute!!!

This was Landon’s expression when everyone started singing Happy Birthday! He looks a tad worried at what comes next.

After cake it was time for a quick cleanup and then head to the pool. Afterall, what’s a Finding Nemo party without swimming.

There were lots of little ones around, so I guess Kohlton had a hard time finding a seat. Guess Alexis’ lap seemed like the perfect spot. She did not agree

Cadence-6 months…|Pensacola Baby Photographer

I know I am mushy and a little bit more emotional than usual with all the pregnancy hormones coursing through my body, but these photos brought tears to my eyes. I can’t pinpoint the reason. It could be the adorably cute kiddos, the beautiful lighting that evening, or the ease of this family in front of the camera. It could be all of those things, but I think it was the love I felt when I saw the images. This family certainly knows how to love each other and you know that each of them feels loved and treasured by one another. And that was it, that’s what brought the tears to my eyes.

This is Cadence’s current favorite facial expression. I LOVE it!! I know Camille and Andy will look back at this and smile at this funny expression from when their baby girl was 9 months old.

Not to be outdone big brother, Elias, has his share of great expressions. I told him to make all the silly faces he wanted so we could get them out of the way and get to the real smiles. He has some great faces!

But we did get to the real smiles eventually.

Camille and Andy, I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek. You have a beautiful family both inside and out and I look forward to getting to know you all even better over the next year.

Well, he just turned one year old!! He still has the swirl and now he had the sweetest personality to go along with his cuteness.

One of my favorite little blue-eyed babies is back for his 9 month session. I love Mr. Carson! He has the sweetest disposition. And he was one of the first babies that has gone to the beach and DIDN’T eat the sand. Most babies stick it straight in their mouths, but Carson had a feeling that wouldn’t taste so good.

Baby Girl Goodness…|Pensacola Newborn Photographer

When I got a call from this momma, I was so excited! Another little girl to cuddle and snuggle on. I couldn’t wait to get over to their home. And she was everything I imagined and more. Since she was 3 weeks old, I worried that she might not cooperate as well as a younger newborn, but my worries were unfounded. She slept the entire session! What a dream she was and I can’t wait to share her beauty with you.
